Front of car pushed in

I had a mazda SUV back up over the front of my car sunday morning while i was sitting in the parking lot. There was $1900 woth of damage and progressive ins. could total the car. what are my options as i just have POP on my 91 n/a. Can I fight it as i only have 3500 mile on rebuilt. Need your opinions as I am not sure what I can do.
Thanks to everyone in Advance

i don't know how you would fight the total short of getting some type of appraisal. best bet would probably be to take the insurance and buy the car back from them :(

Total it, get the $1900, buy it back for $250, buy a used FC for $800, drop in the new rebuild and profit $850. Sell the second engine, and profit that too.

yep. anytime you total one, you cna always buy it back from the ins. tell em it has sentimental value. lol.

good news the insurance co. is giving me a check to fix $2000 my car is in such good shape that they cannot total it. and they will give me a rental while it is being fixed. Life is good.
Thanks for the input

Wait.. the dude backed over YOU.. right... HIS insurance company is doing the paying RIGHT???? Just want to make sure...

I has some jackass smash into me, and MY insurance went up because, somehow, wire got crossed and MY insurance company ha ME as being at fault.. the good news is that after a year of higher premiums, they sent me a refund check after i pointed out the error.
