Bought the car, then towed it home (thought it was flooded) only to find out that the engine was toast. Then I put a J-spec in it, only to find out that that was toast. Then I got a rebuilt motor, which worked, but then the turbo died 2 weeks later. Then the rubber o-ring in the front cover failed (might have been what killed the turbo), dropping oil pressure to <30psi at all times. Then the ACT clutch got sent back to Idaho because the stinking numbers on my mailbox fell off (!). Then... :D

my car flooded somehow. luckily I did my research and was able to solve the problem immediately with the fuse pull technique. I think it may have flooded from having the key on for an extended period of time, but I could be wrong.

I just found out my spark plugs holes are stripped, they just turn and turn both ways.
Any ideas on how to get them out? |
Blown heater hose. You know the one right under the oil filter? The one that dies from getting slathered in dino juice? That's the one... Well, My first RX was my 88 SE. About 1 1/2 months after owning it I got in my first ever accident. Rearended someone doing 15MPH. Alternators have gone out on both ym RX's. The first thing on the GTU was the Second gear syncro going so I have to double clutch it. |
i dont know b/c i have had it about 2 years, but when i got it, it was wrecked, so i guess you could say thats the first thing that went wrong, the next was my mom flooded it.....
