I read abotut his before in the exterior/audio section. I think they said to use somethign called Simple Green
|
I found some stuff at the auto store called "bug and tar remover", made by Turtle wax I think.
It works on my car. |
ive got black marks from shooting flames. When I repaint the car im going to paint it black so I dont have to worry about that.

Make sure the bumper area above the exhaust tips is waxed well. Clean the soot with bug and tar remover (simple green is WAY too harsh) then use any paint clay to remove the remaining contaminants. Follow up with a good wax or paint sealant (mothers california gold, meguairs NXT etc..). The next time it's stained, it should be much easier to clean and probably wipe off with some quick detailer. If your stains are large, your car isn't running correctly.

no you can barely notice it... but i can when looking closely.

dont use Simple Greenhouse keeping where i work uses it and its nasty it changes the color of the sheets that they use it on from tan to kind of a light mint green
EDIT: oh and it tipicaly washes off my car the back of me car is currently yellowish tint to it because its been to cold to wash her |
WD40 will remove it.
