engine rebuild code

so i bought a rebuild engine from a friend and i want to know the history of the engine. there is a code imprinted in the housings and iwanted to know how to go about looking them up?

any ideas?

Mazda did not use anything except for "F" and "R" to denote FRONT and REAR housings.
