Alright i posted about this before but i lost the page i have an 86 13b engine from an 88 just instlled and i drove it for a day and then all of a sudden my engine would cut out after it got hot at about 4500 rpms and then it would slowly cut out at lower RPMS and it stalls and i have to restart it but its fine when its cold plus its stalled a few times on idle now i don't know much about rotarys but it pisses me off i took it to my mazda rotary mech and the bastard hasn't looked at it yet so im gonna try and fix it myself i've changed the plugs not the wires the fuel pump and filter if anyone has any info that can help me please email it to me at Thormalite@hotmail.com or on here thankyou

 

You mean it only runs like crap when its hot? I would check the connection on the coolant temperature sensor that is tapped into the back of the thermostat housing. If the ecu was not getting a signal from this sensor it could cause the car to die out when its hot and hard to start when its hot.

 

turned out it was actually the TPS sensor wire.. some yanked on it for some reason

and it wouldn't start because my battery and alt were fried
