engine mount differences

This is probably a noob question and been answered a 1000 times. Well i just dropped in a s4 turbo keg into my s5 vert. The engine mounts went in and look like they are all bolted up nice. Once i got up to to look at it, it looks as if the engine is not on centerline. Seems like the front of the engine points too far to the left. I was measuring it vs my old s5 n/a engine, and it seems like the part that bolts up to the bottom of the engine that holds the motor mount is about a .5" shorter on the s5 n/a, or maybe i am just measuring wrong. I think you will be able to see it in the picture refrencing off of the hood latch how far off it is.

You do know that the engine is slightly angled for better weight distribution, right? Rx7 is good like that. :p

Looks spot on to me.

So I do need to change that aluminum cast mount cause its sitting level right now. If I put a bubble levle on the intake exhaust side front plate it reads level. Just looks like the engine is pointing to the left side to me. If you sight the tranny split to the firewall it says it points to the left.

your question was already answered, the engine does not sit straight in the chassis for weight distribution purposes.

look at a TII hood and you will notice the intercooler scoop reflects this angle.

Alright cool. Well thanks to everyone that replied. I guess I am just being paranoid. I strongly believe in Murphy's Law while doing this swap.
