Engine Help

Well the second rotor on the 87 se has no compression and the pops and i are looking for a engine to buy. Well if somebody has done the TII swap and has their used engine seating around I would take it off your hands has fast as humanly possible. Please don't move this thread because i have been looking for an engine for a month now and i don't want to wait anymore.

Thanks

i don't want a rebuilt one because i don't want to spend that much money, so a used one would be just right

Kevin can do a rebuild for as cheap as 1200$ IIRC. Pretty good deal IMO, a used running engine will probably cost you 500 if not more.

YES, YES

brynpark: that is just what i want but does it matter that the engine will go inside of a 87? If it does not matter how long has the engine been seating around hopefully not long. Where do you live any where near Missouri ?

I can rebuild yours for $1000 and shipping. Used engines can serve their purpose, but generally last less than 18 months regardless of mileage. With that in mind, I wouldnt invest more than $400 in a used 86-88 NA engine (btw you can use any engine from 86-88 nonturbo if you didnt know).
