emissions test aborted code 06 ??

georgia emissions..

the test failed because it was aborted code 06
it says rpm too high

the results doesnt show any readings...the guy could get a reading on the rotary..with the sensor that you place on top of the motor.. he says i need a tune-up and that the reading is "out of whack"... seemed like he dont kno how to do emissions on a rotary because he could not get a reading on anything..he had trouble with that sensor you put on top of the motor to get rpm reading.. he placed it almost everywhere even inside the car on top of dash..

the only reading was on the 25/25 test -- NOx ppm which was 70 and allowed was 1258 so that passed..everything else had no reading..

my question is how am i goin to know what to fix if i cant get a reading? what you guy suggest i should do..i know my car is good tune..would changing my spark plugs and or o2 sensor help it "get a reading"?
the car is only 110k miles and cat converter replace 2005.. i passed emission june 2005..does the cat converter clog up that fast? the thing is dont know what is wrong with the car if i cant get a reading on anything.. that doent mean my car failed emissions does it? help with any input please before i go waste money on getting my car tuned..

any ga emissions inspectors here could help with any input is appreciated also..

so im assuming my problem is the machine/lack of knowledge dealing with emisions on rotary engine?...

last year another guy did it fine and passed my car with flying colors..

it must be the rotary..

yes, the technicians lack of knowledge on where to put the inductivesensor for their tach signal

well i went to another emission place and the guy that did mine put the inductivesensor on the windshield right in front of drivers sight in the bottom corner...and the car passed with flying colors....so i went to the old place to get a refund and the guy said that the other guy illegally passed my car by doin that..he said somthing like he wasnt suppost to do that with a car that doesnt have a distributor. and that he was goin to report it to the emissions law.

ok everythings cool then..thanks
