electrical problem

Hey all. I was planning to drop a 5.0HO into my '90 so i wasnt going to bother worrying about the problem but have since decided to turbo the current engine (N/A) and build up the 13BT i have sittin in my garage.

Anyways, the battery goes dead when sitting. Not sure how long it takes exactly, but overnight it dies. I have left it hooked up for an hour or so and it didnt have an effect (not a noticeable one anyways) but like i said ill work on it at night then the next mornin it will be COMPLETELY dead. Any ideas on what i can do to figure it out?

Is the car able to start? If so, jump it and let it run for a while (10 mins maybe?). Turn it off, and try turning it back on. If it doesn't turn back on you got a bad battery. Just replace it.

If it won't stay running when you jump it, then it's probably the alternator.

Battery and Alt are good. Like i said above, it takes pretty much overnight for the battery to drain dead. Right now i just disconnect the cables when i park it and the battery stays charged fine. However that will obviously be a pain when i drive it daily. I could rig up a switch but that would suck for my stereo...
