electric fan and bridge porting

soon i am going to do a rebuild on my 86' FC n/a and i need to know how to get an electric fan so i can take that horsepower robber off. and also i want to bridge port when i take my engine apart so i need to know how to do that....

i wouldnt call the stock fan a "horsepower robber." that might be a bit of an overstatement.
as for the bridgeport, do you know what youre getting yourself into? i believe it can be done on S4s (with stock electronics) for the simple fact that judge ito did it, but he also knows a bit.
research bridgeports, they're nothing out of the ordinary for a competent engine builder.

Not just an overstatement, more like a load of BS. ;)

demonRX-7, search for the dozens of e-fan threads to learn some facts before spending money unnecessarily. :)

Its true, the only reasons I switched to an e-fan are:

1) I first upgrded to an FD Alternator. (best upgrade ever)

2) It openend up ALOT of working room in my engine bay.

3) My stock fan was broken.

If not werent for those specifics, from what Ive heard, its better to retain the stock fan.

You can't have your Bridge porting with out your efan
and vise versa.

hahahah that is a good one. Be carefull and replace you lug nuts and spark plugs at the same time because they go hand in hand as well as porting and efans
