I have an 87 rx7 that is non turbo, I was wondering what is all involved with adding a turbo?

Its very easy to add a turbo. You just weld it into your downpipe such that it replaced the pre-cat, and you're done. :D :D :D :D

umm no.. think before you tell a noobie that is easy and thats all you have to do..

Turbo'ing the N/A is not easy nor is it really hard. If you have the time you can do anything.

Main things You'll need
-Turbo and manifold with a custom spacer
-upgraded injectors
-upgraded fuel pump
-Fuel managment system
-downpipe
-oil lines
-FMIC intercooler.
-block off plates for ACV
-BOV

you can find alot of these parts in the buysell section which can save you some money.

Like i said... if you have time and the knowledge.. go for it.

bcty 05-03-03 12:13 PM

and you will also need a riseing fuel pressure regulator
