Difference between JDM 13B Turbo and US 13B turbo?

Hi, am wondering what r the differences between the JDM 13B turbo(S4/S5) and the US 13B turbo(S4/S5)? Thanks

the ecu and bac are different, the jdm engine has less emissions equipment. search

So the housing, rotor, eccentric shaft are same.... So really the only difference is the ECU and the BAC. That good to know.

One is Rotary Turbo With Intercooler.

The other is 13B Intercooled Turbo II.

And the fact that the ECU's are different, obviously means that the wiring harnesses are wired differently. Also, the USDM fuel lines are the oposite of the JDM fuel lines. (Simply just switched.)

brake booster hose location is different due to being RHD

all JDM turbo engines usespark plug spacing on the housing same as the US s5 T housing

So I plan on buying this s4 jdm short block are saying I wouldn't be able to reuse my s4 Ngk plugs and would my intake and turbo manifold bolt up to it?

Your NGK plugs will be fine... As long as they're not fouled. What series intake and turbo manifolds do you have? Depending on that, you can find your anser with a search.

Jdm also doesn't have egr

am saying you should consider the s4 turbo short block from japan as the same as your s5T block,, but with 8.5 rotors
the japanese engine ,, and the oz s4T engines have spark plug spacing either side of TDC as your s5 engine

s4 and s5 turbo jap and oz engines also all share the G middle plate
( larger primary port AFAIK found only in the s5 in the US )

there is also detail differences in the manifolds ( use your US ones if in doubt )
s4t in oz = external EGR valve + ( G middle plate = internal EGR)
s4T in jap= no external EGR + ( G middle plate = internal EGR )
s4t in US - external EGR + ( x? middle plate )

s5T - everywhere - no external EGR ( G middle plate = internal EGR )
