diff. mount

i need a new diff. mount for my turbo II FC. where can i purchase one, which one should i get, and how hard is it to install?

Mazdatrix. Easiest way is to drop the whole rear subframe, though some say it's not necessary.

What he said. But you might want to try getting a competition mount from mazdacomp or mazdaformance.

on mazdatrix there is a front and rear diff. mount. which one do i need to replace? and the website says i need two rear diff mounts.

if your is dead it will be the front diff mount. THe rears should be ok but hell if you have the cash get all three.

I got all three, only because after dropping that @#$% subframe, I wasnt about to risk another bad diff mount.

And for the love of god, GET THE COMPETITION ONE!!!

Usually a nice thud sound from the underside of the car in the rear. This is your diff slapping the bottom of the car when you accelerate. It's very noticeable under heavy acceleration from stand still and the 1-2 shift. You can also get it to bump when you transition between on and off throttle.

oh ok thanks chris, I'm having some sort of problem with the rear of the car, not sure if its diff or bushings or just crapped out suspension. But what you explained really isn't my symptom so I'll check my bushings and stuff.
