I'm trying to remove the baffles (sp) on my NA housings for a better flow. Any suggestions on this? I have tried to jigsaw them out but it just burns the metal blades in a second or two without any results.

There is one roll pin on each side of the housing. Weld a small bead to it then lock a pair of vice grips on the weld and pull them out. Replace them with turbo sleaves and new roll pins. Japan2LA had a bunch of turbo sleaves don't know if he still sells them. If you are serious about grinding them out then use grinding stones and a die grinder.

If you can't get the roll pins out, a die grinder and a stone will take the diffusers out in about 20 minutes.

Can I drill the roll pins out? 1/4 bit.

In the past I was able to screw a drywall screw into the roll pin then grab the drywall screw with vise grips and pull the pin out.

Regular old hardware store grinding stones. I get the "Wolf" brand at $2.99 for a pack of two. Takes about half a stone to do one sleeve. Grind the corners of the "wings" and then snap them off. Now grind down the pillars. Even the cheap generic stones I get from Princess Auto at 10 for a dollar do the job just fine.

ummm...I sorta don't know what you mean, can you post a pic of the "stone" I would be getting? What kind of tool do I need to make it operate, I have a dremel, will that work?

Edit... A Dremel won't even come close to working. What you see in the picture is a 3/4 HP die grinder.

Roll Pins
 

The way that has generally worked well for me is to drill the roll pins and tap them,
then you thread a bolt in and yank them out.

Why do you reckon they put that insert in there?

They put splitter sleeves in the N/A exaust ports to help quiet the exaust down.
On a TII the turbo acts as an exellent noise suppressor, this allows a less restrictive exaust to be used and less attention be paid to little "tricks" to shut up the exaust. That is why un restricted NAs and NAs running turbo exausts are so
damn loud. The splitter sleeves, mixing of the exaust pulses in the stock manifold and mixing in the collecter of a stock style 2into 1 exaust all help deaden sound.
Any one may not do alot but together they all work together to make a difference.
The sleeves however seem to make very little difference one way or another on
mildly modded NAs. Also supposedly they have an effect on heat transfer, but, to each his own.
