Theres no way. that car HAS to have upgraded secondarys. And for it to have not popped by now on stock injectors is amazing. It defies laws of rotary.
Ya i think it has something upgraded. He told me he ran that at 15psi and it had like 360hp. I was like there is no way it has stock injectors and ecu but it just keeps lasting. Someone come over and take a look at it and go for a ride.

BlackRx7 05-12-03 10:40 PM

Ya'll should stop flaming him if its still running all power to him, all motors are differen't....

Turblown 05-12-03 10:49 PM

Your license plate is going to bite you in the ass..... Do you have any pixs of your setup? Go look under the passenger kick panel, wouldn't that be nice if there was a surprise....

RX7withNitrous 05-12-03 11:16 PM

what do you mean by kick panel what would i be looking for???

He means check the ECU out.

RX7withNitrous 05-13-03 10:57 AM

what does the stock one look like or say on it? Doesn't it say mitsubishi or some shit.

RX7withNitrous 05-13-03 10:58 AM

also is the kick panel to the left. or is it under the carpet?

rxse7en 05-13-03 11:03 AM

Jeez! Bring it to the BBQ on the 24th and we'll look at it.

RX7withNitrous 05-13-03 01:21 PM

haha oh shit i forgot about that. Ya i think i will im going to have to let someone go for a ride in. I just don't see how it can pull so hard on stock fuel.

SonicRaT 05-13-03 01:22 PM

It's under the passanger carpet, stock it'll say something like N3?? (example n370=s5 tII)

RX7withNitrous 05-13-03 01:36 PM

haha what if i got lucky and it said HALTECH!!!!!!!!

SonicRaT 05-13-03 01:37 PM

Then I'd fly down there and swap in a stock ECU and steal the haltech and make everyone in this thread breathe a little easier when your engine goes kerpow. ;)

13bpower 05-13-03 01:49 PM

Are you actually driving it around at 15psi all day? Or are you just asking what it could do at 15psi?

RX7withNitrous 05-13-03 01:53 PM

the guy i bought it from said he ran a 12.2 @ 15 psi. I don't think it is running 15psi but i never look down at my boost gauge when im at wot at redline so i could be pushing like 10-13 depending on outside temps and shit.

13bpower 05-13-03 02:08 PM

Hummm... Thats scary if you don't know what has been done to the fuel system. I would drop it down to 8psi and then find out exactly what is on the car. Not my car though, so I hope it holds up for ya.

RX7withNitrous 05-13-03 02:50 PM

i can't drop it to 8spi i don't have a boost controller

Oh shit! You did it now! Where's NZvert? :D

RX7withNitrous 05-13-03 03:10 PM

haha what?

Rxmfn7 05-13-03 03:11 PM

Even if you did have a boost controller you couldnt drop it down to 8psi. Boost controllers can only raise boost levels above where they would be normally. If you want to lower boost levels, put the stock airbox on or run a cat or something.

RylAssassin 05-13-03 03:47 PM

why are you guys saying hes gonna pop his motor??
He has a t04e, an FMIC, a fuel controller i mean wouldent a t04e be capable of higher boost levels?? As long as he has the fuel controller and has it tuned then how would he be in danger of poping the engine, unless of corse he was maxing out his injectors...

With a large wastegate you can hold boost at 5

He hasnt installed the safc. I just dont like it when he runs around saying hes running a 100% stock fuel system because someone else is going to think they can...

RX7withNitrous 05-13-03 09:16 PM

i do have a fuel pump :) i don't think it is stock but i don't know i can only see two injectors and they both have yellow or orange on them don't know what the other two look like. The s-afc is in my room though :)

ponykiller 05-13-03 09:54 PM

Two ideas for you.
1) Get on the dyno and see what your A/F ratios are.
2) Look under the carpet at the feet of the passenger compartment and see what ECU you are running. IT IS NOT STOCK.
