Question Control Arms/Ball Joints?

I've been doing some research and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I have an S5 FC with a bad ball joint and all the shops around here want around $400 just to replace the whole control arm and all have refused to just replace the ball joint itself. I know that the ball joint is "built" into to the control arms on S5's and the S4 ball joint assembly is bolted on to the control arms. My question, are S4 & S5 control arms interchangeable?

Perfectly fine. Added energy poly bushings in the front during the install.
