I read that these codes have something to do with fuel injection timing. Is this correct? Also where should I start on trying to fix this? Here is what the car will do.

Run great when cold Mash the gas and you rip right out of there, When the car warms up it will cough and sputter when you mash the gastake your foot off the gas and it will idle perfectly. You can slowly increase the RPM's and it will be fine. It will also "hunt" idle will very with the A/C on.

Please help.

Both codes are for the electronic OMP, and you need to replace it to get rid of the codes and the automatic limp-home mode.

Yep just search the for sale section and look for an S5 OMP. you should be able to find one for not too much $$

OMP? Are you talking about the computer. Sorry to be dumb but if it aint got points and a carb I am in the dark here.

 

CHeck your ecu also, it was causing my problems with the OMP.
