Clutch release on ACT clutch
I installed a new ACT clutch/pressure plate
It has a new resurfaced flywheel and all apropriate stuff done. Everything works fine but the problem is it only works on the last 1/10 of pedal play (almost on the floor). the line has absolutly no air (Stainless). The slave cylinder moves as it should. Very sensitive to the pedal (adjusted pedal play). I rebuilt the master and the slave is pretty new. The pedal feel is linear. Just doesn't seem like an air bleed problem. I was wondering if the upgraded pressure plate require a longer throw from the slave cylinder. Perhaps upgrading the Master cylinder would flow enough fluid. |
I had to adjust mine after install because it won't disengage completely, even after bleeding the hell out of it
|
I tried adjusting the peda and it didn't help too much.
It's annoy'n b/c everthing is how I'd like it to be but I would like my clutch engaged/disengage 1/2 instead of all the way down. |
i am having a similar problem only mine isnt engaging even all the way down....i am going to try and bleed it again
|
it probly does just require more throw than stock so i would just tighten the pedal all the way, it should take care of it unless you have already tightened it as far as it will go
|
yeah the pedal is maxed
i'm gonna get a new master maybe when I rebuilt it I did a shitty job or the chamber was worn too much. Worked fine for stock but then again it was a stock clutch....... |
