gabe at T3 makes em, there not advertised on the site but he makes great products. i run alot of his parts on my toyotas. http://www.technotoytuning.com i think he quoted me $170 for em.

I dont see any on his site,..

I'm not aware of any top mount ones, but I'd bet that just about any could be mounted that way.
The only camber/caster plates that I'm aware of are from Ground Control and AWR Camber plates are available from Tein, ISC, and others. |
Why do you need to adjust caster?

Caster helps with stability. More caster = wheels come back to srtraight quicker after turning. Its actually a lot more complew than that but I'm in the middle of finals for school and I'm tired. Google it. Sorry

HAHA, He told Ted to "Google It". Thats classic.

Now I ask you, have you changed your caster on your FC? -Ted |
Ive got cusco camber adjuster plates, if i turn the plate 90 degres and fit it in the strut tower to adj the caster, will this work has any one tried it?

Why you being so defensive about it? i think i'm going to start grouping you in the "holier than thou" category with icemark. -Ted |
even if i didn't know what happens, i think wikipedia explains it rather nicely. i'm not being defensive, i'm being annoyed by your fatherly attitude. but i'll indulge you in my purpose, despite you shouldn't care just like you don't care what i think about you. i asked a simple question. either you have the answer or you don't. i don't need someone barging in trying to critique my decisions, especially someone i don't know.
my goal is to even up the caster setting and eventually play with the setting to find a good balance between gaining camber with the wheel turned but easing the effort required from my newly installed manual rack. the stock 4 position adjustment doesn't give me very much control. a camber plate gives you zero control. since no one's suspension is perfectly symmetrical, a camber plate is going to almost ensure an uneven caster setting between the front wheels. soooooo, long story short, i exchanged emails with Gia & Gabriel Tyler of technotoytuning and found i'll be buying from them, even though it's only a camber plate. they were very quick to respond and very informative. i also have a machine shop at my disposal (i'm a machine designer) and there appears to be more than enough meat for me to mill some caster slots in their mounting plate. it is one beefy unit for the price ($170) . |
So you're saying your caster is uneven right now?
-Ted |
yes. i've never had a car where you could get the caster dead even with factory adjustment options.
how about you stop beating around the bush and just spit it out, ted. |
