You should try using a throttle body cleaner spray while attempting to start the vehicle...lol this'll probably work~ :aroused:

drain the gas and refill it. it would be a good idea to replace the spark plugs, fuel filter and oil filter. maybe pour some oil into the rotor housings and turn the engine over by hand a few times. what happens when you try and start it? try push starting it maybe

check for any hoses unhooked, make sure the maf is connected and no pins have backed out, hopefully non of the apex seals are frozen. my buddy just bought a 7 that had been sitting for a long time and had one working apex seal on the front rotor, the rest were frozen. get some sea foam too :)

bmwrx7man 04-13-07 02:09 PM

wat do i do with sea foam? i never got that

put about 1/3 pf a can into your brake booster vaccum line, and let the neighbor hood fill up with smoke. we put some in the front housing sparkplug holes and let it sit to try to free up the seals, it didnt work for us.

This assumes of course that the car is actually running...which his isn't.

It's just like any other fuel injected car- drain the tank and refill with fresh fuel, replace the fuel filter and flush the lines, clean/replace the injectors.

I doubt that a car that's been sitting for eight years is flooded.
Does this thing even turn over?
