boost gauge and coolant tmp. gauge not working

My stock boost gauge and engine temp gauge dont work!!! when i turn the car on they dont even move they are just dead. sometimes when i have the lights on the dash lights turn off. what gives?

could this be related to the gauge cluster not working or what?

fuse or check the harness at the ECU...

The water temp gauge and the boost gauge are fed independently. No common fuse b/t them.

So pull the gauge cluster off and ring the wires out from the cluster to the unit your interested in.

I'd start with the boost gauge. It shares the output wire of the boost/pressure sensor wtih the ECU. No signal to the ECU could spell curtains for your engine some day. Free fsm available online with schematics.
