Bolt pattern conversion Qs.
So... I've resurected the Rex after years of neglect. It's actually running pretty well. The body needs a lot of work, but that's what you get for fifty bucks. It still needs to pass emissions but I am already planning on how I should make it better. First things first... Those phone dial wheels. OMG! They need to go. 185 tires just don't cut it for me either. I'm used to the 255s I'm running on my T-Bird. Before I go hunting for wheels and tires though, I need to think about the bolt pattern and brakes. I know that some FCs have 4 piston calipers... I WANT! But what does it take to convert to the correct bolt pattern? If I am going to invest in wheels, I might as well leave myself some room for some brake upgrades, right? Can I just change the spindles and rotors and drop those on in the meantime? Or do I have to do more than that? Does it all bolt up?

Just look for an NA FC with 5-lug wheels, and I think that you will find your 4-piston front calipers (noted by two round lumps on each side instead of one) and vented rear rotors. Yes, like the link says, it is much easier to just change out the subframes. No, a TII rear subframe will not work. You may also want to look for a LSD while you are at it.
