Block off plates question (noob)
Aight ive been hearing a lot about people useing block off plates. I was just woundering exactly what they do, and what benifits come form doing this. I tryed a search but i came up with about 100 different post about what plates are you using blah blah, ect but nothin on really what they do. Any help would be great.
-Thanks, Andrew |
when you remove your emissions, youll have a huge ass hole in your intake. The plates will seal off this mother of all vacuum leaks. Actaully the same goes for any vac leak.

i got my block off plates from
http://www.2751engineering.com/2751parts.html They were well made, and easy to instal - You can also make your own. And yes, there are quite big holes after you remove the emisions stuff. But sure does make it less complicated to re-do vacum hoses =) |
