well yes, the '74 spec housings will work with any iron before 1986 and after 2003. they're not exactly picky but they do still require a coolant seal.. the housings have air diverter banjos that bolt in from the bottom of the housing and then the sleeve is a press fit into the housing. not super complicated or different but the exhaust is VERY small, smaller than even the 12A ports.

If that rad doesn't hold, get a hold of Southside Cox.
we just had a chat (Canada to Alabama) on the phone..heh.
He's got a brass rad.
I was gonna mention it earlier but you went and fixed er up.
Anyways now you have a "back up plan" if things don't work out for ya!

Karack, are they any different other than that? They are very small but that's nothing a decent port job couldn't fix! I also have a D weight and an E weight rotor if anyone is interested. I just need these parts out of my shed so I can work on other things in it. $600 takes EVERYTHING from both motors all the way down to thru bolts and completed oil control rings.
Misterstyx, thank you, and I will keep that in mind.

i don't exactly know the differences but they don't look to be much different than the automobile division housings from the same timeframe.

Fair enough. I'm gonna link to the album again and post in other rotary.
