ok i have a set of 4 of these bbs 16x9.
Im looking to put them on my second gen vert that has f & r eibach springs.
they came off a second gen coupe so i know they fit.

my question is iam I able to run 225's on these rims up front?
will it except the 225's?
can i use spacers on the 16x9 with 225's up front?

or should i go with 205's up front and 225's in the back?

I run 235 on my 17x9 but they are ad08 so they are more like 240

rims

well I put the 225's on the driver side front and it wouldnt seat right against the hub without the spacer.
I dropped the car down with the 225 up front onto the ground and It went down without a issue.
It just felt real close to the strut and didnt want to cruse with these and hit a bump and .blow out a tire
so thats why I ask if anyone is running 225's on the front of there 2nd gen.

offset...

I run 17x9 235/45/17 up front but that means nothing without offset.
Ride height is a unique thing and we can't tell you "yes". It's a test and change height to make fit thing.

I can check my offset when i get home, but i have 225/50's on my 16x8's in the rear with no problem, then 205/50 on my 16x7'x in front and they dont rub.

The rears Im not seeing any issue with it possibly rubbing, only the fronts seemed close.
I threw a 5/16" spacers on front with 225 50 16 tire and i just seemed really close between the strut and eibach springs.
Im not sure what the offset is.
