Exclamation Automatic Window help!!!

Is it possible for the window to go down by itself if the car is off???
Can a computer/electronic "bug" cause this....???
Or do u guys think i just leave it open and not close it all the time???

No, No, and yes.

There is no power to the switch or window when the key is off. It would be impossible to roll down by itself.

Only if an aftermarket window controller was added and wired incorrectly or you had a bad power window switch.

Pry the switch up & out.
Unplug it.
Take it apart & observe the broken pieces inside.

Then, if you're a klutz:
Get a new switch.

Or. if you're handy with plastic & electrical repairs:
fix it.

I'm pretty sure mine went down by itself once. My switch went bad and the passenger side window wouldn't go down anymore. One night after it rained, I head out to class and notice my passenger seat is wet when I get in the car. I looked over and the window was down. I don't know how the hell that happened, but the switch started working for a short period after that before it died again.
