Hows the Handling????

Lots of people use them. I do.

Handling is fine. Better than the blown out KYB that were on the car when I bought it.

They also work fine with Eibach prokit springs. I have those too.

i like em alot, enough to buy them again when i got my 2nd FC. i run mine with suspension techniques springs

I've got KYB's and to be honest they feel like stock... but I wanted something adjustable.

(on full stiff they're stiff though, and the KYB's on my DSM are WAY stiffer, don't know what's up with that!)

Myself is planning to get a used Tokico Blue under 10k miles and putting a brand new tein S.Tech on it. Hope it works great since the feedback of my thread been very positive. =)

Everyone have their own different set up and thats nice. Soon I get my suspension installed I'll renew the thread to tell you guys hows the ride.

be careful when you put the springs on the shocks themselves. i replaced my tokico's with newer tokico's and when i went to install them, i had to remove the metal dust cover to make them fit. other than that, they were fine. this was with a set of eibach springs, so dont quote me for intrax, susp tech, tein etc...

i run the tokico blues with a set of racing beat springs, ride is excellent, stiffer than stock slightly but a very nice ride. I like to do laps around my block sometimes when all the kids are at school and adults are at work so i dont hit anyone so i can put em to a little use sometimes and yes they work very well.

Also i've never drifted in any other car before because this is my first car and i think these are pretty good if you wanna slide a lil bit.........thats just my opinion but i'll probably get ragged on for that by someone.

i have blues with eibach springs, great combo

blues are good and inexpensive much better that some replacements IMO

owww i think they are great they handle good i got them set up with the eibach springs =]

blues are amazing. better handling. they pretty much set the standards for oem replacement. i got tanabes mounted on them.

I have some with tein S. tech springs I'm putting on today. I did read that the have clearance issues with stock wheels though. Search for Tein springs in this section cuz the guy posted a pic.

I have them with RS*R Race springs, and the handling is amazing.

After a few years and getting some otherthings sorted out with my chassis/suspension I realized that these with the Eibach springs sucked.

I have Tokico blues with Tein S springs and they handle great and the drop was about an inch........a lil stiff but i dont drift it.

So I just installed mine and the fronts rub a lot. So much that I ended up putting the stock springs back on the front. When I get some different rims I'll try again.

I have the Tokico blues with the Tanabe GF210 springs. Unfortunately, I may have blown a strut hitting a GIANT pothole in the rain. Before that, though, they're pretty nice. Good price, and a snap to install.

tokico blues with eibach prokit springs, i sort of wish i had stiffer springs, theyre supposed to have a 1 or 2 inch drop on them, but the stock suspension that was on my rx7 when i first got it was so bad i couldnt tell a different after installing new shocks and springs

handles pretty well, im throwing strut and sway bars on soon, so i cant expect too much without those, but im happy with them, only thing id change is springs, and after that im going to coilovers, i think i payed something around 600$ for the set up all new

I have blown shocks on my FC with tanabe GF210. Came across a set of tokico blues with eibach springs from a private seller. Do people favor the Tanabe's over the Eibach. I went on the website and I couldn't find any info for the Eibach springs, I believe they are discontinued now. I do have front and rear Cusco strut tower braces already. Would it be better to have the Tanabe & Tokico blues together than the Eibach & Tokico?

the Eibachs were 3.2kg F/ 3.0 kg R with a 25mm drop.

the Tanabe is 3 kg F and 2.5kg R with a (1.5") 38mm drop

so the tanabe is a little lower and a little softer

stock is like 1.9/1.9, and the basic performance stuff is 8/6

I don't have them on my FC, but I do have them on my Mazdaspeed Protege, and they're a great suspension option! Handling is awesome.

Any idea what the RB's are?

I have the Tokico Blues and GF210s. The combo dropped my ride height at least an inch. Handles tight and stiff, but not uncomfortable. Very functional.

Tokicos and any reputable springs (RB, Tanabe, Eibach, etc.) are the best bang for your buck suspension until you get into expensive coilovers territory.
