i got the other day started to think while i was changing few things oil,filters,spark plugs....

is there only that 1 ugly custom dash they made for rx7's 87-91?

before i'm asked why would i want one, simple turning my n/a 88 into show car and buying a either buying a 3rd gen or buying a t2 for racing.

 

well i have not seen really any custom dashes, ive seen all aluminum ones but theyre for racing. i on the other hand am making a custom guage dash. the very back peice of the dash im going to make an aluminum copy of than have two 2.5 in tubing coming out of it and itll go along the sides of the guage consol and come up with an arc. it might be hard to imagine but its getting built this week so ill post pics if thatll help

i may as well go out buy some fiberglass mat,resin,hardener,filler,mdf create a completely new dash + finish my rear sound system view - http://pchoops.sky-world.net/_private/king/3.asp

havent had any time in the last 2 weeks to get back wrap it with carpet go over box with about 4 lays of fb outside/4 layers on the inside should keep it going.
dont mind the ugly amp well be replaced soon + new cd player want to hear the music so i'm not installing killer bass pounding subs just enough

i'll try to finish this project up this month , keep talking pics of the progress on it.

 

btw about the colored lens my 2 friends g/fs' colored them in with a bingo marker so about 10 friends and myself tagged there cars up from top to bottom
