Hi guys. I posted another thread a while back, about some wings for the FC. As I mentioned on my other thread, currently I am wingless on my black RHD FC TII. I was going to buy a wing but due to some other things I had to do, i put a hold on my purchase. I will order it next week along with some other parts. I narrowed down my options to two but I can not decide and I need your help again. Please do not start flaming each other again about rice and all that crap...I will order either the Run Racing one or the R-magic one. Does anybody here have the Run Racing wing? If I get the r-magic one I will get the re-amemiya rear bumper inserts too.

When you open the throttle at 60+ do the rear tires loose traction?
If not - you don't need a wing.

If you want it just for style - Look for one that mounts securely & is not in the way of loading stuff in the hatch.

 

the run racing 4 way adjustable one uses the factory holes that my stock S5 wing had. The r-magic I think you have to use some kind of double faced tape on the sides...I will try and post pics of the wings...

yes the picture of the black fc is the run one. I have more pictures for both but i do not think is necessary to post them. Come on guys so many reviews and not a lot of votes... Please vote one of the two even if you like some other wing or like to stay wingless....

someone asked me to post a couple of more pictures of the Run racing wing... so here they are... I would like to thank the guys who voted. Its a draw up to now :-) I will post pictures when the wing arrives to my door from Japan...I have already start making up my mind what I will get. Next week I am placing my order...

 

I have always loved the run racing hood and spoiler....I would say that if you're gonna get one, get that one.

The wing on the white one (whale type), is the r-magic one and I think you can get it from aerodyne, corksport and some other companies in the US that can import JDM products. I am not going to get mine from the US though since I do not live there anymore and I am getting it staight from Japan.

Agreed!, spend the money on some go fast/stop fast/turn fast items.

but if i'd have to choose it would be the 1 on the black FC, the "whale tale" 1 makes the car look too much like an Iroc or firebird or something

 

haha hard desision, fc doesnt tend to fit wings to nicely on there. the stock turbo II wing is prolly one of the better out there, the first whale tail one is just too big, the run racing one looks half way decent but it hangs off hte back of the car so far!.

 

My favorite wings are JRX/Shine Auto Wangan Wing and RE Amemiya Wangan Wing (I think is the Type I wing) I also like Knightsports wing. Run Racing looks very nice.... go for it!

 

Ive never liked the wangan wing or the other one. I think the amemiya wing is the best.

I agree with kompressorlogic. The R-Magic looks way too large on that white FC. Maybe it would work better with some kind of huge overfenders and 19"x 10" wheels, but as it is it looks pretty cartoonish. The Run Racing one is slightly better but still seems a bit large. Do you have a body kit on your car already?

Also agree with what others have said that the basic S5 TII-style wing looks better than either of these plus it costs a lot less. Since you only gave these two choices, I picked the Run Racing.

 

Dude thanks for the advice after 5 years... I got the rmagic wing a 4-5 years ago and in reality is much better than those pictures.

I think the JRX wing is a copy of the B-wave wing that was made in Japan. I used to have the b-wave cataloque but I cannot find it but it looks its the same wing.

Yes those are modified stock lenses and yes we have very nice cars in Cyprus. You can see monster skylines, evos etc etc, and whatever exotic car comes to your mind everyday in the streets.

 

ON an FB the bigger the wing the better.. I think the fc can get away with it also. Well sorta, That big Wing on the white fc looks good.. It sure dont look bad. Who in here can say that looks bad? come on
