AIT S4 Kit

I'm posting this for Will at AIT Racing. I've seen their kit in person, it's very clean and very well built. They back the fiberglass with some sort of stuff that makes it stronger than any fiberglass I've seen. They also have a S5 kit and will posts pictures early next week. For more info you can visit their subforum here:

If the quality and fitment of the AIT kits are as bad for the FC as they are for a 240sx I wouldnt even waste my time unless it was free or really cheap. Just like with anything else, you get what you pay for. Version Select stuff is much nicer quality.

Im not really griping, and I haven't personally heard anything negative from an FC owner, but there are plenty of reports of poor fitment on 240sx's(brother owns one). While they are fairly cheap, they will most likely take alot of work to fit up nice(not to say it wont look nice).

Look carefully - it's only a half-bumper that tacks on to the OEM unit.

Hey guys, I've seen the pieces on and off a car ... it's top quality stuff for sure. I'll be using some of it myself. I'm pretty sure the front bumper is a replacement, not a tack on. Will can answer that question in his subforum though.

I'd like confirmation on that...

but I've seen how others are making the s4 bumpers now though... they are taking the bumber the whole way back to the wheel, they have "wings" that attach to the fender below the body mounling, which is what this one looks like it has...

THIS is the most hideous think on an FC ever:

for those prices, how can it be a full bumper? but yeah, they do have series specific parts, so maybe its just cheap in price like bomex.

and speaking of halfbumpers, i want a tack on s5 bumper, so i can use their damned lips! bah, but thats just more money on top of more money.
anyone even sell halfbumpers in the US? I remember RP used to have the RE Amemiya stuff, but i cant find any body parts on their site. I like my rubstrips, but every bumper is s5, and no one makes a decent lip for S4

The front bumper is a full bumper. They use a frp setup with a cormate material for reinforcment. The rear bumper is just a skirt. I enjoyed helping with the design. I think its one of the best looking body kits out there. Well designed!!!!. If you want to see the kit inperson. Come on by. They also offer S4 30mm widebody fenders and rear qauter panals.
Give Willl a call at Aitracing at ( 909 ) 718-1900
Thanks Robert
