89 motor into a 90 gtu....
 

i have this 90 gtu with a blown motor :( and a 89 good motor sittin at the shop....what should i do to make it as good as a good 90 motor??:confused: im in desperate need of a motor so im gonna put it in my car but i just wanted some advice....:wiggle:

89 NA motor and 90 NA motor are the same motor.

The motors should be exactly the same. I dont think you have to have anything done unless you want to have it rebuilt and ported, but this is assuming the 89 motor is in good condition.

wat if it was and 87 NA motor??
wat difference would there be ?
