88 gxl warning chime gone. help!

So just recently I went to my car. And when you turn on the lights with no key in ignition, it didn't chime or anything. Where would I locate the chime or chime assembly. Where could I start looking is probably a better question. Or any suggestions as to any fuses or relays that could possibly be the cause to this problem?

The CPU in the driver kick panel. What mazda calls the "Horn" circuit board in the ECU will go bad and weird shit like chimes not working, high beams not working and in verts, alarms not working.

You can get that replacement board at mazdatrix and just replace just that component, instead of having to buy a whole new CPU.

http://www.mazdatrix.com/86-92Electrical-Chassis.htm <-- It's the 86-88 Horn CPU.

Yeah. I HATE those darn things. Can't even open the door without ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. Thats on a Ford product I have.

I'm blessed. Of three RX only one has the chime working and it's intermittently :) on that one. Possible cold solder joints on the board.
