^^^^ Can I modify my duckbill with 2x4's and still get the same effect? I can't seem to find out where to buy that wing for my Dodge RX7.

hey, thats how i did it. $600 s4/5 hybrid engine swap, only hand tools. used a 4x4 fence post, 2 friends, and a chain to remove and install. the sad part is my dad has a hoist and an engine crane and a shop. but he wouldnt let me use any so i did it outside in -10C weather in january. took 3 weeks done and driving.

BurntOrangeT2 01-04-12 07:17 PM

not to mention why his saying is go big then blow it up, classy.

All you need to go fast is radiator stop leak, fix a flat in all 4 tires and a semi turbo with no tune.......

RotaryEvolution 01-05-12 10:01 AM

and the biggest loudest exhaust!

bigdv519 01-05-12 10:14 AM

IBTL

I need to find a really good, but really cheap mechanic.

Anyone know how to change the timing belt on my RX-7...it runs funny.

RotaryEvolution 01-05-12 10:29 AM

of course it does, it has spinning triangles.

ironically, the biggest and loudest exhaust usually does tend to actually suit these engines best...

I've been drifting for years in my moms civic (its an Si model), so I'm practically a pro.

i didnt know FR cars could drift. i thought it was considered "power sliding". since drifting by definition means you gotta break traction in the rear wheels first.

the point to that is for all the people who do big builds then baby or dont "use" them. for me, if im putting all that into a build, be certain im gona beat the crap out of it until she goes. that way i really get my moneys worth.

Sounds much better. :icon_tup: I totally agree. Let's just replace "beats the crap" with "drives it". :)

Its one of those things, if you know, you know. If you don't someone probably has to show you, otherwise your never gonna get it done.

I am talking about people who want to make over 9000 whp on 500-1000$ budget. Its just not gonna happen.
