i think the responses from people who obviously do not read any of the remaining thread are the funny ones, like how many people have given the serious answer that is for the rear brake caliper? Its like they dont even see what the other responses are.

Looking at the tool again I think it is to reset the factory alarm

UMM you must mean, MOOT Point, never met a point that was... mute.

It does look like the golfer tool as everyone says, but i bet it was in the car so that he could use it on the rear brakes... just my OPINION.

Rob XX 7 06-25-09 10:20 AM

I think it is to adjust the volume of the right muffler

No, I actually meant "mute".

Hailers steals my radio...ergo no sounds in the car="mute point".

It's an English major's attempt at humor, please forgive me.

Even if you did go overboard on fixing the dash by the excessive spending of $.55 cents on repairs (someone charge you overtime money on that job?), I still want the penny that wasn't expended back. And FYI...your darn radio was busted.

And as one can see by looking at my latest jpg, I've gotten the eraser out and cleaned up my Browser at bit.

I'll stop now. Never to return to this thread.

It's not busted, silly person, it's JDM.

That means it only accepts metric CDs and Japanese Squid Pop.

Your Lyle Lovett music probably gummed up the resistors.

classicauto 06-25-09 02:40 PM

Its clearly a tool for the headlight fluid resivoir cap.

Fuckin' newbs :)

jake1191 06-25-09 05:17 PM

looks like it might fit the manual knobs for an older trans am(82+) headlights... So it could be used for headlight fluid

The really funny part is that I keep changing the description on my auction on Ebay... I finally admitted that I didn't know what it was and somebody bid on it anyway!

walken 06-27-09 01:01 AM

what's up with the multiple rear brake comments? you noobs need to go remove your rear tire and take a peak at what's there.

What happened to your original name?
Me=always tardy

Rob XX 7 06-27-09 06:35 AM

you should have said it was JDM

EPD 06-27-09 01:16 PM

If it was jdm it would have had a starting bid of 236.56

the 56 cents are to cover the change lost during the JDM stereo heistt.

He's old, and forgets passwords easily. :oldbawb:

Syritis 06-28-09 04:25 PM

it's for removing the center caps from the 10AE rims and only the 10AE rims, if you attempt to use this tool on any other set of center caps you will surely end up with bloody knuckles.

Buggy 06-28-09 04:51 PM

I'm thinking that's the tool used to replace your muffler bearings. Pretty sure I saw one on the Snap-on truck the other day.
