im thinking of going from dual to single, and want to see what side people prefer to run thier muffler....heres mine now...
|
If I were to do a single, I'd probably have it exit on the passenger side, to give myself a false sense of balance by offsetting my own weight on the driver's side. plus it would be farther away from my ears while driving
|
The GXL had a right side exit, but the TII has a left side exit. Cant complain about either.
|
My TII exhaust is exiting on the left side because I thought it was easier to build.
|
when I finally decide to go single i want it on the passenger side
|
most i seen ppl do it on the passenger side.
|
I think either, I really don't like single tip on fc without it being large, slightly offset and if the other exit was patched over and painted like it was signle stock.
edit: bro save the money dont worry about an exhaust it'll just mean tickets, get that baby painted! |
doesn't really matter. probably easier to do passenger side. i have one of each.
|
My Corksport turbo-back exits to the left side and I think I like it better than the right side.

i'm sticking with dual. but if it came down to going single...it would be passenger side.
|
|
Drivers side, it's a straighter line from the turbo.

looks like RIGHT side wins!!!
my car is just a N/A w minor mods, and its only gonna be replaced from where the y pipe connects to the mid pipe and i still have a cat on it.and theres a trust muffler in the junk yard im planning on picking up this weekend on a 1/2 off sale...pics will be posted when the time comes to get it to the muffler shop....thanks.:icon_tup:
|
in my head, i kinda like the passenger side, believing it is not as loud to my ears....
i dont like loud exhaust but my small wallet and everything forces me to run a fart can... |

I'm trying to decide which exhaust to use for my project car, and cost being an issue i was looking at the corksports. i've heard some complaints about this system being a bit on the loud side, not that that worries me. However i've already had some issues with the cops here in california with my racing beat system and i was hoping to get you impressions. Thanks. |

tips too tiny for single exhaust
Go duals with ones so tiny better yet, go look for a nice racing beat exhaust |

right side exit plus it was easier to build 2,4 inch turbo back,no resonator, open wastegate and at the end a magnaflow muffler, loud as hell but i love it.

kinda thought that might be that case... oh well. guess i'll have to change my plans. Thanks. |
I dont think it matters......
My prediction for the next "thread i made b/c all the other threads were taken" is: What shift knob shape do you prefer? Phallic shaped or round? |
passenger side at an angle, for cyclists.
