(everyone that is on this forum, that is afraid of what is different, causr they didnt read in race car engineering, and have no first hand experience )- " oh no car is too low, blah blah blah did you corner weight it, blah blah blah, my car is at least 5 in higher than yours, its better for handling, even though i dont track it cause ima pussy"
i like it, looks good, and wow looks like you did as minimum pull NEEDED, not a 3 in baseball bat, for 5 in of clearance. like everyother fag on this board |

Sooo..you're telling me that just by lowering my car I'll have ultimate handling? When someone hears handling..they're thinking Roll cage..or strut bars. Lowering leans more towards looks. Im sure to some degree it helps. |

no spacers.coilovers take alot less space than stock ones.even w/ the stock suspension on the test fit it barely cleared.never hit the springs, just the fender liner.
|
wow... I am shocked... what kind of coilover? just bolting up a 9.5 wheel on my car with a +22 offset, the wheel was hitting the spring on my coilovers. and that's not even including tire.
|
that is weird,it should clear.aftermarket coils as well?a friend is running the same size width and offset w/ enkei RPF1 wheels w/ same size tires and his clears as well.he's running tein HA's.
the ones i have are just megan track spec ones.i got them pretty cheap and new so what the heck,i went for them about 1 yr ago.12K springs are pretty rough and i use it as a daily.i'll try to get a better pic.but i don't have a camera since i'm cheap.it barely clears up front specially when turning the wheel. |
just curious, any pros on certain tires size that fit on our car like if lowered and cons about it because all the issues about getting the set up we want sometimes just end up rubbing fender and things like that. thanks

18x10 +35 (+25 fits with a skinny tire or a fender pull) 18x10.5 +25 if you can roll / pull a little bit you can fit a 265 under stock fenders with a simple roll. 275 is usually too tall in 18" 285/30r18 is super short and fits on all the above wheels with a little fender lip roll and some neg. camber from lowering the car. but the 285/30r18 is so expensive that a lot of pepple choose to run a 255 or 265 out back. |
... id love to help out if i can be self centered, while helping out the fellow wheel seekers... ;)

^I picked up a set of the D2's as well. Sadly no pics because I have no money at all. This coming up payday I'll get the tires and post some pics of them.
