Do you want me to make you look like more of an arse? you are doing very well by yourself :rlaugh:

You want a signed letter from Toyota showing that they are supplied by Rota?

I have it here :)

Rota make MORE wheels for OEM manufactors than they do aftermarket btw :icon_tup:

Car manufacturers that Rota have and do supply wheels for:

OEM for SUBARU, NISSAN, TOYOTA ,MITSUBISHI, ISUZU, FORD, MAZDA,SUZUKI AND BMW, TOMMY KAIRA OF JAPAN

So Tommy kaira, who are actually based in Japan choose to run Rota's :icon_tup:

I posted this on the GTR forum, and one of the main car importers didnt believe what I said..

This is his responce..

"As I promised - in my PM of 15th December, as we don't mean to cause any undue problems for you & to put things into the correct persective - we have this week checked with Tommy Kaira and they confirm that ROTA do indeed make wheels for them and that these are therefore VIA & JWL compliant, so I therefore owe you a full apology, which I hope you'll accept"

I personally have over $1.5 million invested in Rota wheels, I would not be doing that if they were shit :rlaugh:

Rota rims are stamped VIA & JWL as they meet all Japanese government standards (just like the "real" rims). I've bent Volks in the past but I've yet to bend (or crack) a Rota driven the same way on the same car.

This thread has some of the gheyest and uninformed comments I've seen in a while - comparing rims to clothing trends :gayboy: .

Can anyone tell me the size/offset of these rims? Also what size tires? These look perfect!

I have seen SSR's and volks crack, O.Z.'s blow up, gram lights split spokes, and Fikse's and HRE's are not allowed on some tracks period. Showing a picture of a broke rota should not convince anyone of there quality or lack there of.

Many things have be replicated by different manufacturers over the years, the 1911 and AK47 come to mind. Are we to assume they are terrible quality due to not being from the original factory? Just like anything, you get what you pay for but price does not always correlate correctly in scale to quality.

"comparing rims to clothing trends" yes because many people base their self worth on these things and don't like their status symbols being encroached upon.

I stand firm in my opinion, and I do believe the majority of people who know of Rota and their offerings feel the same, they're kind of lame. To each their own and do as you please, just expect to have your car laughed at by those who respect established companies of quality. Example being, and my personal favorite: BBS.

I just bought a set of Rota Torques used from an S2000 owner in Atlanta. They are 17x8 +35 fitted with 245/40/17 Potenzas. I believe the overall diameter is 2% smaller than stock. I'll post a photo when I put them on the FC this week. I got the set for $400.

Back from the dead. I forgot to post the wheels on the car. The cheap Rotas on the FC. On the way to get tuned.
