is that a dodge stealth wing on your car?

Actually it's a MX-6 wing. It was on there when I bought the car.

COOL!

Except this is a thread for "18 and 19 inch wheels". Not 17s, which are SMALLER.

I wouldn't ever admit to owning those rims, no matter what size they are. :)

17s if you are racing.... YES! 16s too... (but chrome 17s or 16s and yr an idiot)

but if your a poser like me... (or if you got the boost/torque) then bust out dem 18/20s

LaMAr09 01-11-08 11:05 PM

At first I was thinking 17's up front 18's in the rear.. i started thinking 17's all around.

danegerous 01-12-08 12:26 AM

if you're a good driver than 17/18 stagger would probably be optimal but a good aggressive say 17x9 all around is perfect.

bennyess 01-12-08 12:35 AM

heres a better pic of my rims

bennyess 01-12-08 12:37 AM

18x9.5 235's all round
tein coilovers, exedy clutch + race flywheel
3inch exhaust+ hi flow cat, short shift kit.
boost at 12psi stock ecu

Idk I think it'd take skill to handle 18's. Just an assumption I have 17's all around and I never see anyone who is very good using 17's for any reason besides tire price. Like I said pretty good chance I'm wrong but for the sheer price in tires I'll stick to 17's.

USS CJ 01-12-08 11:28 PM

No,

18s take no more skill.

???????!!!

Risky Devil 01-12-08 11:37 PM

skill to handle 18s?
WHAT?

ilia 01-12-08 11:47 PM

I dunno, I'm pretty whack but can drive on 18s. My tire setup right now sucks to try to spin, but other than that it's OK to drift on 18s. It feels the same.
