Thanks! I'm using a DC to DC in-car-pc. Its called a VoomPC and its made by mini-box. It acts as a regular computer except that it hooks right up to your battery and it can handle large fluctuations in voltage and still remain powered on (like when you are starting up your car).

Heres a link to it
http://www.mini-box.com/VoomPC-Enclo...=8&category=87

The operating system is Windows XP Pro and whats also cool about this is that i have a broken video camera that doesnt record anymore. So I hooked it up via firewire to the pc and now i have a back up camera.
Great work bro. Thanks for the info. This is exactly what I've been looking for. A windows car PC!!

I'm getting the new Turbo Timer Type-1 By HKS for my turbo swap, just wondering where most of you put your turbo timers, usually hidden for the most part? Not sure where to put mine yet...

Nice setup. On my other fc which I am building I have all defi Bf gauges. As for the defi pressure sensor, one my my friends he used to have greddy SM gauges and he used the sensors from the greddy gauges with the bf and they work fine on his fd. I think they are the same. So you may want to check it out.

this mounting position is good - and looks really good but u cant see the gauges from the driver seat..

i attempted to make an MDF panel up with angle cut holes so i could see them better..
(can post up pics later on)
they are angled but not enough! and i have used carpet on the panel.. i think next time i will use black vynl so it looks neater.

A pillar gauges are ProSport Fuel Pressure and ProSport Air/Fuel (on my LM1 Wideband), shift light is a Raptor unit.

Primary gauges, Autometer and VDO. The lights are:

Red upper left (SES light)
Red lower left (WB O2 programming indicator)
Greens (blinker indicators)
Blue upper center (brights indicator)
Blue lower center (Alkycontrol meth indicator light)

Laptop for on the fly tuning/monitoring/configuration, wideband O2 controller (wideband is logged on the laptop scanning software also). The fighter jet controls in the center console are from an old nitrous setup, and will probably be replaced with a more simple panel.

There will be a 1FastT2 gauge panel here shortly (it's in the mail), with an AEM TruBoost, a ProSport EGT gauge and a ProSport Volt Gauge installed below the radio in a few days.

I have had those gauges there for years, trust me I can see them just fine from both seats. Matter of fact I can see them so well I put gauges in the same spot on my other FC.

when you keep things simple it is timeless, I did that to my console back in like 01' oe 02', and it still gets comments- thank you.

i agree simple is better, but there are some gauges you just HAVE to see, especially once you get into tuning. If was up to me, I would have stock gauges only...
