Pictures of how it should have come off the assembly line.

Check out my Boost and EGT Gauge :)

Can you find the cup holders?

roadster = win

Spirit-RE 12-31-09 10:51 PM

That is sexy HOZZMANRX7.

HOZZMANRX7 01-01-10 07:35 PM

Thanks. My idea behind it all was less-is-more. :) Almost every upgrade I put in that car, including the leather seat recovers, came from essentially a scavenger hunt with other forum members or craigslist.

My favorite part is the HKD CAMP virtual gauge system. In digital mode it displays all 8 points of information. Mine is the old school version.

inder those rubber mats are perfect stockers, same goes for the dash.

Where did you get your dash mat? I've been trying to find a black one for my FC.

HOZZMANRX7 01-06-10 07:39 PM

Kirkracing back east.

Sat in a Vert at 7stock with one to confirm I fit and I didn't loose any functionality otherwise.

hey sodrifter, which short shifter did you buy? i like how your shift knob sits, though the tenzo wheel and ultrachrome shift knob are not really my kind of taste. oh and S4 pride too, but i have a s5 center.

puhpaper 01-07-10 02:04 PM

thanks for that info hozz.

10yearrx7 01-07-10 04:54 PM

that shifter is way to short, would be like a arcade game.

sodrifter 01-07-10 07:45 PM

im not sure on the brand. it was in there from the previous owner. Tenzo wheel will be gone shortly and i have an rx8 knob for it(looking into getting the 5-speed script for it)

GeenIdee 01-10-10 04:06 PM

To be updated soon. Hopefuly this week...with a new 2din radio :)

Let me know when you find a source to replace the 6speed script with a 5 speed for the RX8 shift knob. :icon_tup: I've been looking for that myself.

Rob XX 7 01-10-10 04:39 PM

if its not the light up shifter you can have any sign/decal shop make you the pattern

sodrifter 01-12-10 11:50 AM

i actually have a vinyl plotter. i just havent taken the time to take my knob apart and see what i have to do. if its as easy as taking the thing apart and cutting a new sticker. im going to be making them for everyone. lol

p.s. anyone know how it comes apart?

FirebirdSlayer666 01-12-10 10:54 PM

You guys know they make a 5-Speed RX-8 knob right?

HOZZMANRX7 01-13-10 12:31 AM

Yes, but they are essentially a custom made, certainly less common thing and thus more expensive.
