Before and after new top

I'm going to be getting a new top put on my 88 Vert within the next week or two. I went ahead with the Robbins canvas and am just waiting to hear from the shop for when it comes in to get it put on. Definitely pretty darn expensive everywhere that I have checked here in South Jersey. I will post pics when it is done!

Definitely follow up, I'm wondering if the canvas is worth the extra. Funny how all the vert tops rip in the same place.

The canvas tops are very nice. I had a blue one on my old convertible you won't be disappointed.

I'm still waiting now. Hopefully it will be done this week. There was a 300.00 difference between the vinyl and canvas.

It turned out absolutely fantastic. I definitely think that it is worth the extra money for the canvas.

Those ribs on the Targa section are a little strange, do they make noise while you are driving?

I haven't driven it a whole lot with the top up, but I haven't noticed anything other than the exhaust lol

I believe its an S5 vert thing.

My vert has that an its an 89 where as my 2 old 88s didnt have it.

i cant remember if they called it a rain guard or not as i think its to protect the water from getting into the seals which obviously didn't work

From what I was told, Robbins only made an s5 top, so that would probably explain it. Doesn't bother me at all.
