this post agitates the hell out of me....... im so sick of seeing these STUPID pictures posted without the story of the STUPID owners mistake. there is this set of pictures and one other picture that is used to frequently BASH Rotas...... Ignorance is just fucking stupid Those wheels were the victim of a LOOSE brake caliper . that is why they are bowed OUT. the caliper also DRAGGED the spokes backwards. no car has the HP to do that to a wheel but i bet you money that a loose brake caliper can dig in and warp a wheel. Nothing personal to you Hypertek i have just seen this reposted and bashed on more forums than i care to. I respect your seveness:-)

see what i mean!?

http://s8.directupload.net/images/080901/5i2hpoph.jpg POST it ALL see the marks from the DRAGGING CALIPER........... torque that would do that to a wheel would break traction before warping a wheel.

I looked into slipstreams when I was first looking at wheels. The 17x8 and 17x8.5 +35 have a smaller hub bore than the stock hub sizes of an FC. So you will need spacers to make them fit. Just fyi.

I will believe that they rubbed after the wheel warped.. Do you believe someone who builds a 500hp civic to run the nordscheilfe *one of the worlds most notorious road courses/track* would overlook something like wheel/brake clearance? No. The wheel worped, and the wheel barrel moved inwards, bringing the spokes closer to the calipers.

The fact that theres soo many destroyed pics on the net *compared to pics of destroyed volks etc*.. but also, maybe rota drivers dont know how to drive lol *since most of the pics of busted rotas are on hondas or subarus*

JCurry 05-12-09 09:52 PM

ya honda drivers suck....most of the people who drive them are like 16 yrs old
