Fan Blower resistor location
Hello everyone reading this I just acquired a 1987 RX-7 base about 2 months ago.
It has blower fan issues unfortunately, I replaced the blower fan and logicon hoping it would work. it works on max speed which i didn't have before so I'm assuming i need a new resistor, I cannot find where it is located can someone help me out also pictures would be the best. Thanks

Give these a look. They might steer you in the correct direction. If you have only full power fan, that means that your relay is working and that the transistor is probably fried. You can probe the 2 wires going into the fan and check for voltage. Full voltage is alternator voltage straight out of the relay. Below full fan, the fan amplifier in the logicon provides the gradient voltage to control the speed.

so what i find odd is the blower motor doesn't work at all even on max. it will only work if the dial is turned full to max and i unplug the blower and plug it back in, if i try to lower fan speed it shuts off. if everything is connected and i shut off the car and turn it back on it doesn't work.
