1990 rx7 convertible shocks and brakes

I have a 1990 rx7 and it needs new shocks and brakes, I received the car from my mom which bought it new, which is in great shape but she never replaced the shocks after 34 years.
I have noticed a clunking noise when hitting bumps so it appears they are shot.
What shocks would be best for this model and year to give a good ride but still have some stability in turns.

The brakes are also in need of replacing so suggestions on this would also be appreciated.

Thanks

KYB AGX struts. . . .. .They are adjustable

If you are in there, replace all the rubber parts. . . spring top mount, strut tower mounts

Get some Tein springs or some Eibach springs.

Replacement is pretty easy in your driveway. . . below is more info.
