Question quick question

I was just wondering, how much boost can you run on a 20B TT direct from japan?

c'mon guys . he's got eight posts. probably a young man in high school who needs this forum to learn about mechanical realities.

On pump gas you are limited by the octane more than the engine's limits so i would say 14 psi on the street. one high octane mix probably 20 psi conservitavely and 30 psi if you want to roll the dice, especially on a stock, 10+ year old engine.

About 10-12psi with emission control devices, and about 14-15psi without. All this is assuming you have the necessary well-tuned standalone EMS, ignition system, intercooler, etc.

Either somebody who states boost in terms of absolute pressure, or somebody who has absolutely no clue about the limit of the stock turbos.
