s5's are the same weight and compression ratio as the fd's, cosmo 13b's, and 20b's. i need to correct myself on the weight issue. yea, they're ballpark the same, but there's a letter weight designation for each rotor. does anyone know if the letter/weight code is the same for s5's and cosmo's/20b's, rew's? |
I can't remember how it goes but it's somethlng like if two rotors have letters that are next to one and other in the alphabet (like J and K) then they can be used together. I "had" one third gen rotor and one Cosmo rotor in my motor before the rebuild by CLR. Maybe someone else can chime in with a definite response.

i've only mixed a set once...that was before i knew about the weight code =/
anyhoo, that motor is still running to this day, so it can't be all THAT dramatic, as long as it doesn't spin very fast...6500-7kish? but with a 20b, might as well have the whole shit balanced just to be anal. |
