Lightened rotors on 20b

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has been running lightened rotors on the street? I'm not looking at starting this thread with the intention of debating over torque loss, rather to hear real experience with them on the street. Thanks in advance!

I would realy like to know this as well, i would think it would help with less stress on the e-shaft.
But would there be any down sides with reliability on a turbo car pushing 600 whp+?
And i also don't care about the torque loss, to litle tourque is not a problem on a 20b.

I've gone back and read several threads all leading to a conclusion of no specific torque loss or very minimal. It's hard to tell without real numbers on a single setup before and after lightening..maybe someone can chime in...

Street benefits would be slightly increased throttle response. Race benefits equal less strain on the stationary gears and e-shaft. Unless your planning on reving a boosted 20b past 8,500 rpms, lightning would be a waist of money because you would need to also upgrade the oil pump, direct oil feed, and increase oil pressure. Then you would have to run ceramic apex seals (something I wouldn't recommend on a boosted rotary). Now if you just wanna spend the money to lighten the rotating assembly while keeping the revs below 8,500, there are really no side effects on the street.

Awesome! I see no documented cases on builds here dictating any side effects. I'm sure the lower weight only puts less stress on components and there by extends the life of the block. I'm sure regardless of this, people still take great care of their 20b seeing how pricey things can get...
