20b Street Ported FD

Hey guys don’t think I’ve posted a build thread on here before.

ill start with a few pictures to make sure the links are corrupt as I know photo bucket when mental a while back lol...

Currwntly just finishing off installing the Samberg v8 swap radiator, not sure rotary 20b guys have used it before but seems to be going in well so far with the 20b, I liked the idea of having the air filter down the front and get some colder air into the block!

The car has a FEED carbon bonnet on currently which I’m changing back to the stock white bonnet ASAP. Test fitted the FEED GT2 rear spoiler to, but will probably take that off again and run spoilerless lol

Managed to get a private plate for the car, 20b related which is cool!

Cheers guys!

Samberg v8 swap radiator installed, just need to bolt the front slam panel up

Temp intake ducting installed whilst my itbs are being made up

car fires up and ran fine after being sat up over winter, then The EWP died so need to order a new one lol. Will be a Davis Craig 150 litre model, biggest they do.

Going to order Leg motorsport rear carbon canards whilst I wait for my Regas to come back from being powder coated

I know this is NA, but Is there room for intercooler piping when running the Samberg radiator setup.

tomCTR 05-04-19 08:47 PM

Not really mate! No room to get around the rad, tryout could try route tight behind the rad but the IC pipework would be low as mate!!

Given the cost you could have a much nicer custom setup. Check out the Howe radiator that folks are running https://www.norotors.com/index.php?topic=246.0

Any dyno number on this thing?

Had a dyno print out when I got it of 364bhp @ the flywheel

but since then I swapped out the large 90mm Holley throttle body for the oem 20b one, then changed ecu to link extreme, aem coils, msd spark plug leads etc and had the car remapped but only mapped on the street so far

now added the Samberg intake so will have the map tweaked again then get back on the dyno! 👍🏻

Good to know. To late for me as I have this one now lol but for the other guy it’s a good option!

That was to the guy looking at running IC pipes. I'm setting up a NA20B and will probably go with the Samberg setup. Very clean and easy to install (had one on my LS1FD).
