would sidepipes be the best exhaust for power on my streetport 12a
if so what style of side pipes? two the whole way combine at header then exit? where to exist? or run to each side of the car? what size piping? and what would be the quietest free flowing muffler for this application?

only way you can really do it is header to muffler then pipes bent to exit directly under the rear of the door on passenger side. it is loud. my friend did it. theres no way you can keep it legal.

yea, i've done this. it's not toooo bad if you are using the stock exhaust manifold, but using the rb header there is no way in helllllL!!!!!! it's so rediculously loud.

so you could say collect after header huge goddamn muffler of some sort then 2.5-3 inch pipe bending an exit right behind the pass door in front of the rear wheel???

I suggest you read either the Mazdatrix or Racing Beat section on exhaust tuning, I have forgotten which one has it. The pipe length makes a difference on performance.
I have concidered doing something similiar, but only for track use at the strip. I want to line up in the left lane and see the look on the other guy's face face when I shoot 4' flames at him. :bigok: |

no I havent been in ryans car but he one smart kid, I already have a nice custom exhaust on my car Im just thinking about trying somthing different, yah i guess the fumes would be pretty bad
