What kinda of rims do you have and pics

I'm seriously running out of rims to look for for my car. I was wondering which ones you guys have and if you have any pics, just so i know there is some hope for my car after all.

lovintha7 04-04-05 09:54 PM

I'm probly going to be getting Kosei K1's from tirerack.com

The best choice, IMHO, is Panasports.

rxseven07 04-04-05 10:28 PM

dude, hi!

©ØÐËߣüË 04-04-05 10:31 PM

have them powder coated white

southernrunner 04-04-05 10:37 PM

Well see i know they have white ones, but i just cant seem to find them, im not looking for just the k1s but other rims that are white as wheel. i see them on pics all the time, unless they powder coated them as well.

steve84GS TII 04-04-05 10:47 PM

White Advan RG.
I dont recommend them if your on a budget, but I imagine a more conventional 17X7 version with an SE lug pattern/offset would be much less $$ than my special order sizes from Japan. Most dealers that sell Advan keep the 17X7's in stock for the 4X100 Honda crowd, not sure about if they keep 4X114.3 versions around though.....BTW,if your not driving a GSL-SE or dont plan to convert to GSL-SE brakes, disregard all this...........

Black Racing - Pro N1

These are knockoffs of the Advan RG, at less than half the price. They only list 5 lug style, bolt patterns, but it says the have 4 and 5 lug availible.

82streetracer 04-04-05 11:38 PM

check sig Kosie K1s from tire rack. love em, really light, even with the tire.

TSW Apex 16*7 with 205/45`s. No rubbing what so ever. Bought them in 4*108 and used loose head bolts.

https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...hmentid=104908

I`m thinking about getting them powder coated white, the semi chrome finish does not quite do it for me!

yea with the 4x110 pattern almost all of the wheels youve seen wont work, unless you get the gsl-se suspension, or the adapters which are like $350 (you could probably have them custom made for less?)...

These are Boyd dragstar's which haven't been made for quite some time. Unfortunatley I really lik'um, and they are nearly impossible to replace.

Wanted: 1 Boyd Dragstar 16x8 any lug pattern

nopiston_racer 04-05-05 03:53 PM

i just wanted to chirp in my 2 cents....i was searching for rims a while back and i called a lot of shops and they all told me that i can order any rim i want and they will re-drill the bolt pattern for $50 a rim....so i guess if u can afford and extra $200 on top of the rim price then u can have any design u want....

I actually bout some 5/8" 6061 rod and tig welded the holes back up and drilled my own. cost me $3 for the aluminum.

I do however have a mill, lathe and welder in my garage :D

Hades12 - those wheels are American Racing 6-spokes and were a 'reproduction' of the 80's vintage racing cars. These had to be custom-drilled in 4x110 for non-SE bolt pattern. I know because I have a set on my 80LS.

The ones in my signature line are MB Motoring Model 272's:
